Summer Vacation!

Yesterday was the last day of the school year for this preschool teacher! I celebrated by enjoying an ice cold beer and Lindt Salted Caramel Chocolate (courtesy of the amazing assistant teacher I have been working with lately).  This school year has been a particularly crazy one for me.  My life has changed drastically since  I started the school year as a student teacher and grad student.  I feel overwhelmed yet blessed when I think of all that has happened.

My biggest excitement is that I have become a preschool teacher! I absolutely love my job and already can’t wait to get into my new classroom for next year! That being said, I will be adding a new section to this blog, dedicated to classroom adventures, early childhood activities, and hands on learning.

Stay tuned for my next post on an easy recipe for Sidewalk Chalk Paint! We tried it out for our Messy Art Day and the preschoolers loved it!

Happy Summer Vacation!

  1. Summer vacation is here! I just finished my last day of school today so I can totally relate to how you feel!! You have had an eventful year it seems. Isn’t it awesome? I actually just finished my first year as a special education teacher (after teaching preschool for several years) so I totally relate to your post. Your blog looks like fun so I am following now 🙂
