You will often hear me refer to a magical place called The Garden. This is a piece of land my family owns and dearly loves. On this land is a large “L”shaped garden, tall trees, and an old shed. My parents spend every evening working there, growing a plethora of fruits and Vegetables. It has become a sacred spot for my family.
Now that I am living back home, I find that it is one of my favorite places to be. I find peace in being surrounded by nature. The open sky has provided ample opportunities to view amazing sunsets and gaze at stars late into the night. I have done so much soul searching here. It is where I feel closest to God and find my paths to follow.
This summer I am going to busy myself with DIY projects at The Garden. Currently I am working on re-purposing an old door into an outdoor table for gatherings. Soon I will be embarking on the quest of remodeling the camper my parents keep at the garden. It’s a big job and I’m not quite sure how I’ll do it! I do know it will be new adventure for me! Stay tuned for updates on my DIY projects and life at The Garden.
