Arriving at Your Destination

This morning I embarked on a road trip to Madison Wisconsin to visit my oldest brother and his family. This was yet another big step for me as I had never driven this far alone! I will admit I was feeling pretty anxious about the drive. Being a small town girl, I’m not used to heavy traffic and long stretches of road work. But the drive went great and I’m feeling pretty proud of myself right now. Although I did have a moment that resembled the scene from Clueless when the girls get on the Interstate…

So here I am in Madison, relaxing in this beautiful guest-room my sister-in-law had all ready for me. Already I have had quality time spent under the canopy with amazing food and learning a new board game. There is no better time than the precious time spent with family and their chickens! Take a look at today’s pictures! Tomorrow is craft day, stay tuned for more of my Madison Adventures!
